FRANK26......01-10-2016

Hello Family it is time to pray, please pray with me,

Heavenly Father I fall upon my knees with a simple prayer of thanks to You today for blessings upon all.  I praise Your strength in our lives and it is by Your strength that we learn to put trust and faith in You.  Jesus led a worthy life here on earth with us so many years ago.  He left behind great words that have transcended time and still are taught today.  As Lord and Savior of my new life He has provided me with eternal life because of the might sacrifice He made upon the cross, shedding blood for our sins, for the sins of the world.  Asking each of us to come to Him as our Savior so we may know the Father, and at the same time we are His disciples to guide others to Him.  Father I pray that our trust and faith in You continues to grow and as it does we each see with our own eyes the control You maintain in our lives, even as we may choose to stray.  You remain steadfast and strong in our favor.  Thank You Father for this strength and guidance.  In the name of Christ Jesus….AMEN.

Welcome again Family, it seems that I am often leading off with a question for you….and today isn’t any different.  How easy is it for you to trust God today?  Do you trust Him enough to follow Him?  Do you find yourself listening with intent and following His direction explicitly?  We have all seen or heard testimonials from others of putting their faith and trust in God.  The most recent that comes to mind is one from our member Mugsbutton, just yesterday, and I’ve read or read of many more as well.

We have all experienced rough times in our lives, some more than others.  Our faith is tested….”how will I pay the rent if I quit my job?”  “God you gave me a ministry but instead of growing it is shrinking, I can’t seem to get Your message across.”  We find it very difficult to trust.  Instead, we learn all too quickly that it is easier to just worry and eventually become discouraged.

We have to be ready to listen, for God’s message to us is short but important, He says, “I am with you.”  There isn’t much to that, but it sure carries much weight.  No matter what we might be going through He is there with us.  We need to realize there is no need to fear.  Even as we are faced with more criticism than encouragement we are not to become discouraged.  We need to remember that God is in control of it all.  All He requires of us is to have faith in Him and trust in His promises.

The greatest part about our life is that we never have to go it alone, He is there to hive us strength, He is there to carry us when necessary, He is there to bolster us when we might otherwise give up.  God holds us up to see the fruits of our efforts, of our ministry for Him, so we may find great victory by doing His service, all because we put our trust in Him.

I know some of us struggle with trusting God, I have witnessed that struggle on my own in the past.  Even today as I can see more clearly, there are still times of struggle.  For some the future may not look very bright, in fact it may look very bleak and impossible.  Don’t be afraid thought; don’t get discouraged.  We have to remember that nothing is impossible with God.  He is there through the tough times just as He is there to help you celebrate the good times.  Stay close to Him and know that your strength will come from Him and by that strength through your trust and faith in Him you will accomplish all that He has designed for your life.

Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.  Isaiah 41:10

Go in Peace
Blessings to you all

Aloha
