Hello Family let us pray,
Oh Heavenly Father, we give thanks for Your multitude of
blessings on this day. Your Word burns
within us and creates a desire that we have not ever felt, for it pushes us in
directions that we may not feel comfortable about. Yet we know Father You only have the best of
intentions for us planned. Father help
us to better understand our planned path and actions, so that we may put our
best effort forward in all that we do.
Jesus walk with us and help us to understand what Your teachings mean in
our lives today. As Lord and Savior You
open the doorway to the Father. It is
because of Your ultimate sacrifice we have our sins removed, that we are
cleansed as never before, and as such we begin anew. Thank You Jesus for all we have today. Father though we may not fully understand the
burning we have within, help guide us so it becomes more clear to us, help us
to understand that we are not leading ourselves astray. There is a great difference in our own
wandering and the guidance that we receive from You for our path, with You we
grow stronger as we push forward. With
You we are blessed with the truth and the will and the way. We are Your servants Father, our hearts beat
excitedly for all that You share with us.
In the name of Jesus….AMEN
Welcome again Family, be thankful for this day, I know I am
thankful for everything that is received from God, even the things that I don’t
yet understand. Sometimes He puts things
in our lives that seem out of the ordinary, things that we may not understand
at first. Trust in Him and know the
answer will be revealed when He knows its time is proper. Remember in Jeremiah that God made a promise
that he would become a great prophet and speak to many nations. This promise was made to Jeremiah when he was
young and at the time very afraid. He of
course didn’t understand how such a thing would ever happen.
He immediately began to explain to God all the reasons that it
would not work out. He told God that
when he tried to speak in front of people they made fun of him, even mocked
him. He said that he was too young, that
he felt very intimidated and tired.
Jeremiah was on the edge of the cliff where he was almost to the point
of talking himself out of what God was asking of him. Then he spoke “Your Word in my heart is like
a fire shut up in my bones” (Jeremiah 20:9).
My question to you, does this sound familiar to you, have you
felt that fire burning within? Just like
Jeremiah perhaps you have felt that you don’t understand why that burning won’t
go away. You realize that it’s like a
fire, you can feel it alive and you can’t get away from it. Jeremiah knew and finally understood that it
was from God and it was meant to be.
You could very easily be in that place today, where you so want
to just give up on what God has put in your heart. Just remember God does things on purpose and
for a reason, He knows what is best and right.
What God promises to us will not die.
Of course we can talk ourselves out of it, God has given us the ability
to reason for ourselves, but with certain things we feel a real stirring. Even when our mind tries to convince us it’s
never going to happen. God plants that
burning sensation, that restlessness within us.
Understand that is God’s promise within you. He loves us far too much to allow us to just
be average. If we will allow Him, He
will push each of us to greatness. We
need to prepare ourselves and get ready.
Remember those gifts that we talked about yesterday? Well God is about to put those gifts, the
talents, the skills, the ideas to work.
He is bringing forth the untapped potential that each of us has buried
deep within us.
...But His word was in my heart like
a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and I could
not. Jeremiah 20:9
Go in Peace
Blessings to you all
Aloha
