FRANK26......11-14-2015

Hello Family let us pray,

Dear Heavenly Father we bring thanks to You for this day’s blessings that have been bestowed upon each of us.  Father You continually make us happy in how You interact in our lives and we so appreciate the good that comes from Your work within each of us.  At times we may attempt to wander, we allow our focus to shift to more worldly things and “stuff” and for that we ask forgiveness.  Your shining light provides a lit pathway for us to follow, we only have to pay attention to know where we should be.  Father we thank You for sacrificing Your great Son, Jesus so that we may find eternal life.  The pain and suffering He endured on our behalf is nothing we could ever do ourselves and for that effort we offer tremendous thanks.  For what He has done we are so willing to be good servants in this life striving towards what He portrayed in His life here on earth.  We pray we may be good stewards with all that You provide to us, especially that which is coming and that we will be honored to further Your Kingdom here on earth through our humble efforts.  Heal our sick and ill, repair the broken, and forever seek peace in all of this world….in the name of Christ Jesus we extend these prayers…..AMEN

Welcome again Family, it is a great day to be right where you are, wherever that might be….be thankful for God has planned in your life on this day.  It has been noted that often times, in fact more times than not, when we find ourselves in love, everything else around us seems to pale.  What might have been important to us before, the car, our home, even our finances take a second seat to love.

Then when we find ourselves at the other end of this spectrum, the opposite conundrum so to speak, all those “little things” suddenly become vastly important to us and we will go to great lengths to ensure we are able to keep them.  Of course I’m speaking of something like an unfortunate divorce.  During those times people can suddenly find themselves arguing and in heated debate over some of the most simple things.  Our values seem to have shifted is what we are experiencing.

Think about this same process in relation to God.  Before we know Him, really know Him, our possessions mean everything to us, they are our world so to speak.  As we see our relationship with God evolve and start to grow though we soon discover those things that were most important to us before start to shrink considerably in their value and importance to us.  You may discover a willingness to give everything up.  That sounds incredible doesn’t it.  However, many people that we see who are most in love with God tend to be the least possessive and the least materialistic kinds of people.

It is when we get so wrapped up in our money, the flashy cars, the big homes, the big boats, that we tend to lose focus of our greatest treasure of all.  If you discover this is happening to you, understand that it is probably time to let go of those “things.”  “Stuff” means nothing.  Go and search for your first love, lighten your heart and seek to rediscover the love of God again.  It will be well worth your effort.

Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in them.  1 John 2:15

Go in Peace
Blessings to you all

Aloha
