FRANK26......11-21-2015

Hello Family let us pray,

Heavenly Father accept our offerings of thanks for the blessings You have provided to each of us.  Oh what a powerful and all knowing God You are to know each of our needs and have the ability to provide as You do.  Such a blessing is the Omni-presence that You bring into our individual lives.  May we forever remember You and speak openly to You through our prayers each day Father.  Help us also Father and protect our families and friends as we battle disease and hunger, keep us healthy and strong Father, know where the poverty exists and help guide those people towards Your prosperity Father, help them to know a better life.  Father as this year begins to draw to a close help us reflect back on the good things and know we have done well, but also help us to reflect on all that is to come and know there still remains much work in Your Kingdom, guide our paths with Your brightly shining lamp so we fully understand where we need to walk in order to best be of service for You.  Father help our world through these times of strife, show those who turn against You they can be healed and protected.  Guide us always in all we do….in the name of Christ Jesus…..AMEN.

Welcome again Family, sometimes it can be the unsung heroes or cast of a story that provide the message with the most impact.  Epaphras is one of those types of people.  He’s not a big name in the Bible yet he brings a strong message to us through his actions.  What actions you might ask if you aren’t familiar with him.  He is known from the Book of Colossians….he was associated with the church of Colosse and it is suspected that he was imprisoned at one time with the Apostle Paul.

We know that Paul writes briefly of him in Colossians, but to what end?  Paul spoke of his incessant desire for prayer, how he, often behind the scenes would be found in prayer.  It seems that Epaphras fully understood the power of prayer and the power that it unleashed on earth, power that would cause the very demons we face to shake and tremble.

Notice from the verses below what Epaphras prays for, not for himself, but for you.  He prays that you stand tall and perfect, fully erect in the will of God.  What a wonderful thing to do for other human beings, praying on their behalf when perhaps they may have forgotten to pray.  It is truly a wonderful thing when someone will pray on our behalf.

Today I pray on behalf of those I have wronged, on behalf of those who have perhaps wronged or hurt me, I pray you stand ever so firm in the will of God, mature and completely assured on this day.  In this day of strong spiritual warfare whose winds swirl amongst us daily, may we not be bent by their ferociousness, but instead allow us to stand at our tallest.  Allow us to remember Epaphras and how he prayed on our behalf, may we set a similar example in showing our strength for our Lord.  This often silent part of our battle dress is effective here on earth and will most assuredly lead us towards heaven….the eternal life.

Epaphras, who is one of you and a servant of Christ Jesus, sends greetings. He is always wrestling in prayer for you, that you may stand firm in all the will of God, mature and fully assured.  I vouch for him that he is working hard for you and for those at Laodicea and Hierapolis.  Colossians 4:12-13

Go in Peace
Blessings to you all

Aloha
