Opening Forum Post for 11-06-2015

Hello Family let us pray together at this time,

Dear Heavenly Father, we extend great thanks to You for allowing another day on this earth we call home.  Father thank You for the blessings that make our lives better and help our families to cope.  Father keep us grounded in Faith of what You are to share with us, keep us looking toward You to know the extent of what it is we receive, and how it is to best be utilized in Your kingdom here on earth.  Father protect us from drought in our lives, keep us healthy and anointed so we stay healthy to maintain our presence as a servant of Yours.  Shield us Father from those who will attack with the cunning of a lobo wolf, shroud our families in Your protective cloak to keep the wolf at bay.  Guide our path with Your brightest of lights Father so there can be no doubt where we need to stand to be with You.  If darkness casts a shadow about us, may it forever be cut by the stronger light that prevails through You.  We believe in You today and always Father and we lift these prayers to You in the name of Christ Jesus who died for our sins upon the cross……AMEN.

Welcome Family, if you are reading this it must mean the forum is back up or that it’s being posted in a couple of other places, like the KTFA Facebook page….or the newest addition the KTFA blog location which can be found at this location http://frank26ktfa.blogspot.com/2015/11/blog-post.html yes just today we’ve started a new blogsite for those times when the forum happens to be down.  Join us there or on Facebook if you can’t check in here and we will try and keep you updated on the status of things and events.

Have you noticed there never seems to be a lack of news, doesn’t matter what day of the week or month there is always news to be found….yes we even shared news with you today, exciting news at that.  Sometimes in our sharing and providing things to you I have to wonder how we keep from getting tired, or burned out, always pushing forward into the next day.

Other people take vacations and spend time with the family getting refreshed and revitalized.  Although some do wander back and claim they need time off to recover from the time off.  When that happens maybe something is missing, but what could it be you ask…..maybe it has something to do with a message we know comes from Jesus, “Come unto me….”

If you’ve studied Jesus and his walks and teachings enough you know He promises rest.  We learn that His yoke is not a heaviness of religious performance or expectation, but an invitation to a close and intimate relationship that pursues restful times and is truly empowering.  In fact His joy becomes our strength; serving Him in a relationship will not prove to wear us out or make us weary, but it actually provides the means to invigorate, re-energize, and revitalize us but only as long as we are doing it with His help; through His power.

Stop and think, when Jesus walked the earth He was constantly surrounded by those in need, those seeking His help and assistance, so much so he rarely had time to himself.  Even when He could find time for His own privacy it was time consumed with talking to His Father often through the night, for He found His rest from the presence of His Father.

Vacations are a good thing, we can all use them to reset things within our own being.  However, if you find that you are worn beyond expectation at times, or maybe near burnout then it is definitely time to be refreshed, renewed and time for Jesus to give you His rest.  If you wait on the Lord, He will provide you with rest, He will empower you to be able to continue within the boundaries of the vision and the calling He provided to you.  Seek Him this weekend, and seek your rest, the rest He will provide.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”  Matthew 11:28-30.

Go In Peace
Blessings to you all

Aloha
